LANXESS (Wuxi) Chemical Co., Ltd received awards for the “Safe Producing and Integrity Enterprise in Jiangsu Province” and “Outstanding Wuxi Company in Implementing Social Responsibility”. These two awards highlighted the importance of sustainable development in LANXESS’s business strategy and demonstrates LANXESS's leading position in the industry.

Among the 30,000 participating companies for the “Safe Producing and Integrity Enterprise in Jiangsu Province in 2008” award, only two from Wuxi were honored with an award.  The awarding ceremony was held in March 2009 during the “Safe Production Promotion Work Conference” in Jiangsu Province. 

A total of 28 companies received recognition as an “Outstanding Wuxi Company in Implementing Social Responsibility”, which rewarded those who had made great efforts in achieving the best performance in social responsibility.
