LANXESS in Vietnam

Since 2005, LANXESS has been conducting its business in Vietnam through a representative office with 13 employees in Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the growing chemical market in Vietnam.

Asia is LANXESS’ most important growth market and Vietnam is one of the growth economies in Asia. As part of the “LANXESS goes Asia” strategy, Vietnam is increasingly becoming an important market to LANXESS.

The chemical industry plays an important role in the development of Vietnam’s economy, accounting for approximately 8% of the total industrial output. The growth of the economy has leaded to an increasing demand especially for plastics as well as chemicals for the construction and the agricultural industry.
