Our R&D efforts are carefully targeted at an array of promising megatrends. In fact, we have recently launched a new initiative to track our research programs more directly and consistently with developing global megatrends.

Some of these issues, which are driving much of our research, currently include environmental considerations in products and processes, scarcity of resources like oil and water, climate and population changes, increasing urbanization and mobility trends.
