LANXESS K.K. in Japan, with around 100 employees and a total of three production sites, covers the company's entire product portfolio. All business units are represented including Rhein Chemie Japan Ltd.

Tokyo
The Japanese LANXESS head office is located in the Marunouchi business district in central Tokyo, in close proximity to important Japanese global players.

Toyohashi
The Japanese business of LANXESS also includes Toyohashi Works. At Akemi-cho industrial complex, LANXESS operates a modern distribution center. In addition, the Ion Exchange Resins business unit maintains a service center to provide support in answering technical inquiries from customers. In addition, Rhein Chemie Japan Ltd. operates a production facility at Toyohashi Works, producing Rhenogran® and Rhenodiv® - mainly for the Japanese market, but also for export to Asia-Pacific in general.

Himeji
Right in the center of the Japanese leather industry, at Himeji, LANXESS serves its customers of the Leather business unit.
